BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Antialkidas, circa 130-120 BC. Drachm (Silver, 17 mm, 2.44 g, 12 h). ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΝΙΚΗΦΟΡΟΥ ΑΝΤΙΑΛΚΙΔΟΥ Diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Antialkidas to right, wearing kausia. Rev. Zeus seated facing slightly to left, holding Nike in his right hand and scepter in his left; to left, forepart of elephant left; in field to right. Bopearachchi 13A; HGC 12, 259. Nicely toned. A minor scrape on the reverse, otherwise, very fine.
